I wanted to portray the emotions that ran rampant through my psyche the first couple weeks of my injury- a mingled overwhelming feeling of loneliness, detachment- helplessness.
ps- please continue to have patience with my replies (or lack of) to comments; I am still in a cast and have to pick and choose- your feedback is important to me!
i love the expressions - both yours and the teddy's. the blue/green on the white teddy is a little distracting, but it also lends to the overall 'shadowy'/loneliness feeling. the highlights on the upper and left side of the photograph keep the eye at first on the face well done.
I love this......the emotions ..... incredible.
The lighting, the shadowing of your face, it shows incredible loneliness. The way your eyes are directed away from the camera, it makes one wonder what it is you're seeing. The way your fingers are just in front of your mouth, the positioning of them, almost like you could nibble on them a bit, to keep your self company, sortof like chewing on one's lip. It looks almost like you're tugging on your lips. I love the colors of your hair, it's so beautiful. Your eyes are incredible. The cast, and all the signatures, they make you want to sign your name.....makes one want to take away all of your pain, and the delicate fingers extending to them, like a little girls' hand, you want to hold them. The teddy is a perfect touch, it adds to the feeling that you need protection from the world. I love this piece. Great job, I want to see many many more. I'll be watching....
Chilly mood...This would be cute if it wasn't so sullen and melancholy.
Wonderful shot!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
