Artist's Comments

AAAAAUGH!! I tried to use the edit feature- but like many times before, it did not work. *curses profusely* So I deleted the old *sob* with all of your wonderful comments, in order to put this up. I hope you enjoy it as much or more.

Best friend and model Beth. Part of the Seaside series. It was a wonderful day at the beach. Many memories to add to my collection. This shot was taken earlier in the day when the mists were still drifting and the clouds were still hugging the coastline.

Cropped (as I originally intended), and in black and white. Perhaps the last of the series, but we'll see, we'll see...

This is such a beautiful and emotional photo that I'm at loss for words.
It reminds me of a song that I love very much and instead of many more compliments on this great capture, here are a few lines from it:

"I still see her standing by the water
standing there looking out to sea
is she waiting there for me
on the beach where we used to run"

from the song "Galveston" by Jimmy Webb

This is going to be a favorite of mine...for a very long time.
