this has a very illustrated quality to it, which really seems to add to the personal touch of a self portrait. and i love the flower "blooming" from the eye.. i can twist that one really well in my head.. or see it for it's simple beauty even. either way works for me

I like the contrast between the soft skin and flowy hair against the edgy rose and straight lines in the background.
I do find a distraction in the bottom left corner. . . the edge of a hand? The bottom right edge (bright white) yanks the eye away from the beautiful subject.
Nice shooting angle, and I enjoy the position of the rose. Very pretty eyes. . but you knew that already.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
