To further her specie, she evolves out of necessity. Transcending, she sheds layers of life. The transformation is beautiful and horrifyingly painful. She flew through the sun; she knew seeing it would change her forever. Her outer layer exuviated, and fed to the flames, she glowed with strength and freedom beyond boundaries: the last of her kind.  |
